How we promote safe scooter parking
Responsible scooter use begins with education and top-notch software.

New rider education
All new users are required to complete the Hopp Academy curriculum before riding. This program provides instructional videos and tutorials covering key safety topics, such as riding rules, parking guidelines, and the importance of helmet use.
The Hopp app provides riders with information about how to park a scooter correctly.
We also collaborate with local organizations to run workshops and demonstrations on safe riding and parking practices to reach diverse communities.

Parking monitor systems
To ensure correct Hopp scooter parking, we ask all riders to snap a quick photo after parking. This helps us keep things tidy!
Our team checks these photos to make sure everything's in order. If we notice any parking hiccups, we'll reach out with helpful tips and resources to get you on the right track.
If the issues continue, we might need to send a friendly reminder or, in some cases, temporarily or permanently restrict access to the platform.
