Fort York Food Bank Campaign Terms and Conditions

Introduction Fort York Food Bank (CRA Registered Charity No. 867147464RR0001) (the Project) is a registered Canadian charity providing food and support services to vulnerable communities in Toronto. Hopp Canada is running an in-app campaign to raise charitable funds for this Project and to assist in creating awareness of its cause (the Campaign).

Definitions “Hopp App” means the HOPP application enabling you to request and/or receive Transportation Services.

“Hopp Canada”, "we", "our" or "us" means Bolt Services Canada Inc., an Ontario Corporation (Ontario corporation number 1000767984), operating under the trading name HOPP, with registered office at 1050 King Street West, Unit 03B101, Toronto, Ontario, M6K 1E6, Canada.

“Campaign” means the charitable initiative whereby Hopp Canada makes donations to the Project, funded in part by the charity category fee paid by you through the Hopp App. "Fare" means the fee the Passenger is obligated to pay the Driver for provision of the Transportation Services. “Passenger”, "you” or “your” and “user” means a person requesting Transportation Services by using the Hopp App.

“Project” means Fort York Food Bank (CRA Registered Charity No. 867147464RR0001).

“Terms” means these terms for the Fort York Food Bank Campaign.

How it works When you select the “Fort York Food Bank” category, an additional fee of CAD $1.00 will be added to your trip price. This $1.00 is payable by you to Hopp Canada as part of your ride cost. For each such trip completed, Hopp Canada will donate $1.00 of its own funds to the Fort York Food Bank. In addition, Hopp Canada will donate an additional $1.00 of its own funds for each such ride, up to a maximum of CAD $10,000 in total. Accordingly, Hopp Canada’s total donations under this Campaign will equal $1.00 per charity category ride, plus up to an additional $10,000 in matching donations. Donations are not eligible for tax receipts.

Duration The Campaign will be available to users on the Hopp App when rides are accepted by Drivers in Toronto from or around October 8, 2025 until October 31, 2025 (inclusive).

Additional Terms and Conditions All other aspects of our relationship stemming from the Campaign shall be governed by the HOPP Canada General Terms and Conditions for Passengers (the “General Terms”), available here.

In case of any inconsistency between these Terms and the General Terms, the General Terms shall prevail.

Hopp Canada’s Privacy Notice applies to you for the purpose of this Campaign. To review this notice, please visit our website here.

Changes to Campaign and/or Terms Hopp Canada may terminate this Campaign at its sole discretion at any time and without notice.

Hopp Canada may amend these Terms at any time and without notice. Any new or amended Terms will immediately apply towards any future Campaign.

Limitation of Liability Hopp Canada’s liability is limited as set out in the General Terms. Hopp Canada is not directly or indirectly liable for any consequences arising out of this Project and the Campaign.

You understand that the Hopp App facilitates selection of a charity category ride, but that all charitable donations to the Project are made directly by Hopp Canada from its own funds. Hopp Canada is not responsible for the activities of the Project. You agree to hold Hopp Canada harmless from any claim or losses arising out of or which are in any way related to the Project’s fundraising activities and/or this Campaign in each case subject to the General Terms and applicable law.
