If you don’t recognize the charge, it might be:
- Card authorization: A temporary card verification hold from your bank to check your card’s validity. You will see /AUTH in the payment name in the bank statement for this charge. Authorization can be listed as a pending charge that can either be returned immediately or take up to 14 days, depending on your bank.
- Failed payment for a previous ride: If a payment fails, your Hopp Balance becomes negative, and the unpaid sum is collected with your next order. You can check this in the Payments section by tapping See transactions.
- Payment for a ride taken by your family member or a friend using the same payment method.
If you still haven’t identified the charge, please contact your bank to block your card to prevent further unauthorized use.
