A scooter ride price is calculated based on the unlock fee and minute rate. If you pause your ride, the minute rate will still be calculated.

To check the rates, click on a scooter icon on the map. The price will be displayed below the Reserve button.

Hopp performs a temporary card verification before each scooter trip. This is done to check your card’s validity and minimize any fraudulent use of your card and information. This hold of money (authorization) is never charged to your account, but depending on your bank, it can be listed as a pending charge that is either returned immediately or within 14 days.
